(Reuters photo)KABUL: At least five civilians were killed and six others wounded at a hotel in the Afghan capital Kabul that was stormed by an armed group Saturday night, the Afghan Interior Ministry said Sunday. The gunmen stormed the luxury Intercontinental Hotel shortly after 9pm Saturday, trapping hundreds of guests, and the siege continued through the night, according to local reports. The hotel, which is popular with foreign tourists and diplomats, was previously attacked by Taliban fighters in 2011. At least five people have been killed during an attack on a hotel in Kabul.
